We are delighted to be hosting this heart warming film in South Queensferry. We have a partnership with Kiamuriuki secondary school in Magumoni in Kenya and during a staff visit in October we were devastated to find out that the pupil representative on the link committee had had to leave because he could not afford the school fees. We decided that this could not be allowed to happen again and are aiming to set up a sponsorship fund to help talented pupils stay in school to complete their education and go on to make a difference in the future. A percentage of money raised from this screening will help to keep 5 other needy pupils in school this year. Please join us!

A great initiative with only one caveat - it is regrettable that “talented” pupils are the declared target for assistance when it is often the case that “average” pupils turn out to be those who shine. Could I assume that the assistance is based on need?.
