The importance of violence interrupters worldwide
Gang violence is not just a problem in the Chicago neighbourhoods seen in The Interrupters, and as the 2011 London riots showed, community issues still need much work in the UK.
Ceasefire in Chicago has been working with Chaos Theory, a UK-based violence prevention program modeled after CeaseFire, for more than a year. Members of The Chaos Theory have received hands-on training from CeaseFire at the street-level and on various curriculum modules.
